DALLAS — The State Fair of Texas is giving an early look at all the new food and drinks that will be available in just a few short weeks.

Big Tex has made his choices for the most delicious and creative food at the Fair this year, but there are plenty more sweet, savory and refreshing food and drinks that were not recognized by the fair.

The State Fair starts Sept. 26 and will continue until Oct. 19. Along with new food items, several new vendors are joining the fair, including the first-ever fully vegan vendor.

The new vendors include: Chocolate Strawberry Cup, Mr. Ramen Fusion, Shug's Cinnamon Rolls and Vegan Vibrationz. The fair also announced three new seating areas, including the Levi's Denim Club in the Magnolia Beer Garden, Russo's Fat Bacon located on First Avenue and Stiffle
