Marie is a 2-year-old female gray and white Pit Bull Terrier dog, weighing approximately 58 pounds, and is available for adoption at the Lompoc Animal Center, 1501 West Central Ave.

Center staff describe Marie as a great traveler who enjoys looking out the window, going for walks or hikes — and taking a few breaks. Staff suggest families with multiple pets provide ample introduction and supervised playtime with Marie ahead of time. They said Marie would do best in a consistent home that has an established daily routine to help her settle in and continue learning.

Adoption fees include her spay, microchipping, vaccinations, flea treatment, and a health and wellness exam.
