RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Rutherford man was found safe Wednesday, a few hours after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert for him.

He was found in Franklin, according to the update shared Wednesday afternoon.

The TBI first initiated the search for Larry Dillon, 82, on Wednesday morning. At the time, TBI said the man was last seen wearing a polo shirt and khaki pants on Tuesday. He has blue eyes and gray hair. He stands about 5′6 tall and weighs about 190 lbs.

“Larry has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance,” the TBI wrote.
