PlayStation has rolled out a new parental controls app on Android and iOS.

With the PlayStation Family app, parents will be able to manage their kids’ gaming time on PS5 and PS4. The app will include quick access to all of the parental control features on consoles, including playtime and age restriction settings. It also adds new customizable features like an activity report, greater insight into the games your child is playing and the ability to approve extra playtime requests.

If you’re new to parental controls on PlayStation, the app will also provide an onboarding process. Further, you’ll be able to receive real-time notifications about your kid’s gaming activity.

The app is now available to download for free in “most” markets, including Canada, on Android and iOS . PlayStation says
