Newman dominates West Fork

The Newman Catholic Knights took the fight to the West Fork Warhawks on Tuesday night and never looked back. The Knights were relentless in their attacks and had great performances all-around from the likes of Gracelyn VanLaere, Sami Kruckenberg, Brooke Bleile, Rozlyn Jaspersen, Sophia Muniz and more. Newman led by as much as 19-4 in the second set.

Mason City defeats Fort Dodge

Mason City notched its first win of the season in a big way with a five-set thriller against Fort Dodge. The Riverhawks battled back from a 0-2 deficit and swept the Dodgers in the last three sets. The win marks the first win for Mason City since a pair of wins against Des Moines East and Des Moines Hoover, respectively, in the IAC Silver Tournament on Oct. 19,
