GUILFORD, Maine (WABI) - The newly revised MSAD 4 school budget did not pass Tuesday, the third time voters have turned it down.
The superintendent of the Guilford area school district says 331 people voted no, while 283 voted for the budget.
The revised budget was set at 9.5 million dollars.
The superintendent says they will continue to explore creative ways to educate students with the resources available to them.
She says her administrative team will meet to discuss the next steps and bring their recommendations to the board before the next district budget meeting and referendum vote.
