DENVER (KDVR) — Warmer-than-normal temperatures and the chance for a few afternoon showers remain in Denver's weather forecast Thursday, ahead of a more seasonal weekend.
A flood watch remains in effect through Thursday night for parts of central, western and southwestern Colorado. During this time, rain from thunderstorms could be heavy and lead to flooding.
Weather tonight: Mainly cloudy, mild
Showers and thunderstorms will wrap up, mostly in the high country, on Wednesday evening, ahead of a dry, mainly cloudy night. Low temperatures will fall to the upper 50s, which is a little more than 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Weather tomorrow: Warm, afternoon storm chance
Thursday, clouds will increase as temperatures climb to the mid to upper 80s, which is 5 degrees warmer
