Album of the WeekEd Sheeran, “Play” (Gingerbread Man/Atlantic): The British pop troubadour steps out of his “mathematics” era and into what he says will be a five-album cycle based on electronic keyboards and media singles. The first installment is a 13-song set (15 on deluxe editions), featuring lyrics in Punjabi and Persian as well as English, and a variety of fresh collaborators.
