LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Laredo Animal Care Services showcased Mazie, a four-year-old bullmastiff mix, as this week’s “pet of the week,” encouraging residents to consider adoption.

Esteban Delgado, a representative from the city’s animal care services, introduced Mazie, describing her as calm, well-behaved, and ready for a loving home. Delgado said Mazie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and only requires sterilization before adoption.

Delgado added that, despite her size and strength, Mazie is gentle and adaptable, having been previously kept as an indoor dog.
