PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - Drugs, including nearly 19 pounds of fentanyl, and over 40 firearms were confiscated following a joint operation between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Pueblo Police Department during August and September, according to the FBI.

The FBI said 40 law enforcement agents, including an FBI Violent Crime Rapid Deployment Team, were involved in the FBI’s Operation Summer Heat operation between August 5 and September 5.

During that operation, the FBI said 20 arrests were made.

42 firearms, just under 3 pounds of cocaine, almost 4 pounds of methamphetamine and nearly 19 pounds of fentanyl were seized, the FBI said.
