NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)— The frights are just right at Ghost Manor, the popular haunted house in the Garden District, but this Halloween they won't be stirring up chills and thrills.
"We got sad news this year. We are forced to cancel Ghost Manor because of unexpected road construction," said David Gentry, Owner of Ghost Manor.
What a nightmare! Gentry said it was a tough decision to make to cancel the animatronics Halloween show that he puts on nightly every Halloween season at his Garden District home.
The road construction will take three months and it is one block away on Magazine Street from Ghost Manor, which is at Second and Magazine Streets.
Road closures and detours surround the neighborhood.
