SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — After about 60 years in use, the roping bleachers at the Stock Show Fairgrounds are being replaced.
Workers are busy getting the new arena bleachers in place to be ready for the annual Cinch Roping Fiesta in October. The San Angelo Stock Show Association is spending more than $4 million on replacing the arena bleachers. This update will add seating space for about one thousand more people and include a new awning for covered seating.

"Everything's got a shelf life, and they were getting to be dangerous and no handrails for patrons and especially for you know our older audience."
