Flood advisory affecting Baker County until Wednesday night triggered by excessive rainfall

The National Weather Service released a flood advisory at 5:59 p.m. on Wednesday in effect until 9 p.m. for Baker County.

The weather service states, "Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected."

"Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas with water over roadways," says the weather service. "Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles."
