COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office says 15 people are now behind bars following a 30-day drug investigation that uncovered trafficking amounts of narcotics and dozens of illegal guns.
Deputies, working with the DEA, Lee County Sheriff’s Office and multiple MCSO units, executed several search warrants that led to the seizure of 30 firearms, many in the hands of convicted felons. They also recovered drugs with an estimated street value of more than $200,000 and over $21,000 in cash.

30.8 pounds of marijuana, valued at about $139,706
1.1 pounds of methamphetamine, valued at $51,000
208 grams of amphetamines (502 pills), valued at $6,024
