UNIVERSAL CITY, CA — Universal Studios Hollywood officially broke ground Tuesday on a new themed land at its popular theme park based on hit 1992 film Scent of a Woman .

The new park area was reportedly first pitched by Universal Destinations & Experiences CEO Bob Universal shortly after the Al Pacino and Chris O'Donnel starring film opened in theaters. "Back then Al Pacino wasn't a caricature of himself and Chris had a promising career ahead of him since he hadn't played Robin yet," said current park CEO Mark Studio. "Scent of a Woman Land is over thirty years in the making."
