ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Last week 475 workers were arrested in an ice operation at a Hyundai facility in Southeast Georgia, most of them, from South Korea.

“These are not individuals that came into the U.S., secretly one by one. These are good groups of folks that were sent by subsidiary company in Korea or ones that are here,” said Park.
Authorities said most of the detained people entered the country illegally or overstayed their visas. Park said many came with permission to work and due process may have been skipped.
“I have to look into not just the facts, but to see how this was properly done. Was there a step of due process?” said Park.
