Country star Morgan Wallen’s attempt to recreate baseball legend José Bautista’s famous bat flip went awry when he accidentally struck Bautista’s wife with the bat during a pre-concert walkout in Canada, the New York Post reports.

The incident occurred at Rogers Centre in Ontario during the second night of Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” tour on Friday. Video footage captured the moment when Bautista handed the “Whiskey Glasses” singer a wooden baseball bat backstage. Wallen swung the bat and then forcefully tossed it aside, unintentionally hitting Neisha Bautista, who was filming nearby.
