KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The singer who had a body turn up in the trunk of a Tesla registered to him on Monday in Hollywood, California performed in Kansas City on Wednesday.

David Burke, who goes by D4VD, pronounced David, isn't facing charges. Los Angeles authorities say he's cooperating in the investigation.

Lines outside the Truman stretched for blocks on Wednesday night at a sold-out show to see D4VD.

"I was very excited because he just announced it and I bought tickets right as they went on sale. I was so excited," fan Ayden Nichols said, wearing a D4VD anime t-shirt.

Many fans dressed in red-paint blood splattered dress shirts for David's breakout song and video "Romantic Homicide."

However, it's the homicide connected to the vehicle of the singer that has all his fans talking.
