KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The University of Kansas Athletics announced on Wednesday details for the 41st annual "Late Night in the Phog."

According to KU, "Late Night in the Phog" will take place on October 17 at 6:30 p.m., beginning with the women's basketball team scrimmage. However, gates will open at 5 p.m. for fans to enjoy a kid zone, equipment display and more.

After the women's scrimmage, a halftime performance will begin with the Rock Chalk spirit squad, KU band and the fan-favorite halfcourt shot. KU says two fans will have the chance to win $10,000 from men's head coach Bill Self.

Next, the men's team will begin scrimmage, featuring eight newcomers and three returners. KU fans will be sure to keep an eye on incoming freshman Darryn Peterson, the third number one ranked recruit duri
