Daniel Victor Gandini has used his second court appearance in two days to claim he was assaulted by a "large group of officers" last year.
Gandini, who refers to himself as 'Diplomat Dan', appeared by video link from Risdon Prison for a preliminary hearing ahead of his latest legal case challenging court findings last year.
He was convicted in 2024 of assaulting his then-partner three years earlier in their Port Sorell home, as well as throwing acid at four police officers who had responded to the incident.
He appealed against the three years and six months' prison sentence last year, but his application was dismissed by the judges.
As grounds for his appeal, Gandini had alleged a conspiracy between the judge, the jury and prosecutors, as well as jury misconduct.
