SUNNYSIDE, Wash. – Sunnyside Sunshine Days are set to return September 12-14, offering a weekend packed with events and community spirit.

The annual tradition is the oldest parade in Sunnyside, celebrating over 50 years of honoring the city's agricultural heritage.

The Sunnyside Noon Rotary, in collaboration with local organizations, is organizing the event.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of activities, including an evening parade, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament hosted by 509 Insanity Basketball, a car show by the Impalas Car Club and the Miss Sunnyside Pageant at Sunnyside High School.

Mayor Dean Broersma emphasized the importance of this event for the community.
