TROY, NY (NEWS10) -- The Tri-City ValleyCats tied the Atlantic Conference finals with the Quebec Capitales, winning Game 2 after Oscar Campos blasted a walk-off solo home run to win it for the ValleyCats 7-6.
After dropping Game 1 on Tuesday night, the ValleyCats had a crucial game in front of them in this Best-of-5 series with Quebec. Game 2 would be the final contest at home for the 'Cats as the series moves to Quebec for the remaining contests.
The ValleyCats wasted no time to jump out to an early advantage, after a leadoff walk from Dylan Broderick, Amani Larry sent a double to the right-center field gap to score Broderick from first. Chris Burgess would follow that up with a sacrifice fly to score Larry, giving Tri-City a 2-0 lead through the first.
