Police and State Emergency Services volunteers are searching for a 73-year-old man who has been missing for two days.

Brian Thomas Fay was reported missing about 9.45pm on Tuesday.

Police say he was last seen in the vicinity of the Burns Beach carpark on Ocean Parade, and he arrived in a silver Great Wall SUV, with WA registration 1ECR 727.

“Anyone who was in the Burns Beach carpark area between 6pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday evening, or sighted anyone near the groyne at the northern end of the carpark, is asked to come forward and contact police,” a police spokesman said.

Concerns are held for Mr Fay’s welfare.
