Mark Andrews had a quiet Week 1 for the Baltimore Ravens , that much is true.
One catch from a guy drafted to be a starting tight end in fantasy football is no fun.
But that's the nature of TE, generally. Players aren't quite as consistent unless they're the top one or two guys in a given season.
Chiefs star Travis Kelce, for example, had just two catches in Week 1, but he happened to be left wide open for a touchdown on one of them to salvage his otherwise quiet day.
Andrews is also out there with no Isaiah Likely, his TE counterpart who sometimes siphons away numbers but is also another threat for defenses to contend with.
