RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- North Carolina lawmakers are reacting to the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot Wednesday afternoon during a event at Utah Valley University.
The shooter is still at large as of Thursday morning. The Utah Department of Public of Safety said in an update Wednesday night that two people were initially taken into custody after the shooting but later released.
Kirk leaves behind his wife and two children. Reaction has poured in from both sides of the political spectrum.
