Carmel leaders are butting heads over a casting call for a purported reality TV show filming in Carmel that was shared by the mayor and an official city account on social media.

"Next year, a fun, new TV show will be filmed right here in our city," Mayor Sue Finkam said on X, formerly Twitter , "and in addition to showing off our incredible built environment, they’re looking to highlight the very best part of Carmel: our people.”
