One major US bakery chain has abruptly closed all its UK outlets, including its Manchester stores.
Cinnabon, which is best known for selling indulgent cinnamon rolls, has closed all 12 of its UK outlets, marking the chain's disappearance from the high street just four years after its arrival. Among the closures are the chain's Manchester Trafford Centre and Deansgate stores.
The brand launched in the UK in 2020, with plans for sites across cities including London, Manchester and Birmingham. At its peak, it operated around 20 UK branches and was once greeted with queues of eager customers sharing their purchases across social media.
