Lions not sweating Ben Johnson’s bag of tricks, despite knowing how deep the well goes

ALLEN PARK -- Dan Campbell has seen it all with Ben Johnson.

From hook-and-ladders, the ‘Stumble Bum,’ reverse flea-flickers, getting the ball to offensive linemen Penei Sewell and Dan Skipper in big moments, and the list goes on and on, but he saw all of those while sharing the same sideline as Johnson in Detroit.

Now, the Lions coach will face off against his former offensive coordinator, who returns to Ford Field as head coach of the Chicago Bears. Campbell knows Johnson, and Johnson knows Campbell well.

Campbell is well aware of how deep Johnson’s well of trick plays goes and how pivotal those creative and gutsy calls have served his former coordinator.

“You’ll practice one or two things; you do it for every opponent. But, I don’t really care about trick plays,” Campbell said. “Let
