ASH GROVE, Mo. — A beloved celebration of agricultural heritage and history returns to Ash Grove beginning on Sept. 11.
The 63rd annual Steam-O-Rama event will be at the historic Whinrey Homestead off of State Highway O in Ash Grove through Sept. 14. The homestead is located just off I-44 at Exit 58.
There will be many featured attractions this year such as Nichols & Shepard steam engines, Oliver and Hart-Parr tractors, and Fairbanks-Morse gas equipment that will be showcased in working demonstrations.
Other activities this year include: • Daily parade • Blacksmithing and shingle sawing • Farmhouse tours • R&R Garden Railway • Tractor pulls • Arts & crafts • Family activities
Admission is $10 per person and children 12 and under are free with an adult.
