FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A total of 73 Valley veterans were treated to a warm welcome after embarking on the 32nd Central Valley Honor Flight.
The Fresno Yosemite International Airport has thousands of travelers flying daily, but on Wednesday night, a special group of passengers was welcomed in style.
“It's too awesome. Yes, it's a lot different from when I came home in '72. You know, back in '72, it's not like this at all,” Army Veteran Lupe Olivas Senior said.
“I think I literally have gotten goosebumps on my arms every single time because when you're here, you see what it means to the vets,” Central Valley Honor Flight Founder Paul Loeffler said.
