MACOMB, IL (WMBD) -- A career fair at Western Illinois University offers student a chance to see the wide range of career paths in the agriculture industry.

The Western Illinois University School of Agriculture's 30th Annual Agricultural Career Fair is on Wednesday, Oct.1.

The Ag Career Fair is designed to highlight career opportunities in the industry and introduce students to a wide range of professions. Participating companies also have the chance to engage directly with students.

Some of the companies that will be at the career fair include Archer Daniels Midland, Carthage Swine and Professional Swine Management, Jenner Ag, Prairieland FS, Sloan Implement Company and Stine Seed Company.

Other companies interested in joining the fair are not required to have open positions or intern
