LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Laredo Firefighter Association will hold its 2nd Annual 9/11 Stair Climb on Thursday at the Sames Auto Arena, honoring those who died during the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Check-in begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, and the free event is open to the public with music and refreshments provided.

The department is strongly encouraging the community to come out and honor those who passed away during this tragic day in American history.
