RALEIGH COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A man has been charged on multiple counts of fraud after an incident on June 29, according to court documents.

Court documents state an officer in Kanawha County received a call on Sept. 8 from the West Virginia State Police South Charleston Communications Center in reference to a possible fraud reported.

The officer contacted the victim to obtain a statement in reference to the fraud, court documents stated.

According to court documents, the officer spoke with the victim, who told him he was looking into buying a new side-by-side off-road vehicle back in late June.

The victim told the officer he stopped at Massey Motorsports to drop off his off-road to receive routine work, according to court documents.
