Washington: Police recovered a high-powered rifle they believe was used in the assassination of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk and are honing in on a “college age” shooter after obtaining clear vision of the suspect.

Utah public safety commissioner Beau Mason said authorities had now tracked the suspect’s movements in the minutes leading up to the assassination. He arrived at the campus at 11.52am – about half an hour before the shooting – and moved via stairwells to a rooftop from where he fired the single fatal bullet.
