A Thai zookeeper has been eaten alive by a pack of lions in front of horrified tourists at Safari World Bangkok.
Jian Rangkharasamee, 58, was torn apart by lions after leaving his Jeep in the big cat enclosure part of the zoo.
A witness said a lion had crept up behind him before pouncing on him.
The other lions then quickly joined the attack, according to The Sun.
In a video, visitors honked their horns and shouted at the lions to scare them off, but none of the attempts to save Rangkharasamee worked.
According to the outlet, Professor Tavatchai Kanchanarin, a doctor, watched the tragedy about 11am on Wendesday.
"The lion attacked the zookeeper while he was getting out of his car,” he said.
