JANESVILLE, Wis. -- A 91-year-old was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Janesville Thursday morning.

The crash was reported at around 7:30 a.m. in the 300 block of West Delavan Drive. Police said a vehicle leaving a business parking lot hit the 91-year-old.

The pedestrian was first taken to Mercy Hospital then taken by Med Flight to University Hospital. According to police, the driver is cooperating with the investigation.

No charges were being filed as of late Thursday morning, but an investigation is ongoing.
