A Detroit area doctor faces jail time after he was found guilty of assaulting an elderly woman he met on Facebook, prosecutors said Thursday.

Stephen Mason, 54, was convicted Wednesday by a jury in Macomb County Circuit Court in Mount Clemens following a two-day trial. The jury deliberated for one hour before convicting him of aggravated indecent exposure and assault.
