BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The Virginia State Police is investigating a vehicle crash in Bedford County that resulted in the death of one person.

On Wednesday morning, September 10, a single vehicle collision occurred on White House Rd. near Airport Rd. involving a 2005 Dodge Caravan.

As the vehicle was traveling, it ran off the side of the road, striking a culvert before it overturned, according to VSP investigators.

The driver was identified as 93-year-old Virginia Eilene Luken of Huddleston. She was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries, said VSP.
