CHICAGO (WLS) -- Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in the United States, and more than 319,750 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in 2025.

According to data from the American Cancer Society, the number of female breast cancer survivors in the United States is expected to hit 5.3 million by Jan. 1, 2035, an increase of one million women from 2025.

This marks the largest growth among the top 10 most prevalent cancers and highlights the ongoing importance of early detection, treatment, and survivorship support.
