OMAHA, Neb. —

A car crashed into a house and flipped on its side after a collision near 36th and Leavenworth streets Thursday.

Officers with the Omaha Police Department blocked off 36th Street at Leavenworth Street following the crash.

Photos of the scene appeared to show the roof of a home partially collapsed after the crash. A second vehicle in the area also suffered significant damage. Officers put up crime scene tape around the scene.

One witness told KETV NewsWatch 7 they saw a fire and a large police presence at the scene of the crash.

Investigators have not yet said whether anyone was injured or what led to the crash.

Crews with Omaha Public Power District also responded to the scene.
