Two pizza delivery drivers recently had their cars stolen in Quincy “under nearly identical circumstances,” according to police .
On Aug. 31, a pizza delivery driver from Five Star Pizza was met by a man wearing dark clothing and a mask on the porch of the delivery location near Hancock and Berlin streets, police say.
The man reportedly told the delivery driver that he needed to get more money, and he then fled on foot.
The delivery driver turned around to realize that another masked person in dark clothing, who had been hiding in a bush, had stolen his delivery car, Quincy police told Boston.com.
The delivery driver’s phone was also in the car, but he flagged down a transit police officer and reported the theft.
