COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri's Saturday game against Louisiana will kick off at noon, three hours earlier than initially planned, to avoid high temperatures forecast for that day.
The No. 25 Tigers and Ragin' Cajuns were scheduled to play at 3 p.m., but the schools agreed to change the game time. MU announced the revised kickoff time Thursday afternoon.
"Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our student-athletes and the game-day experience for our fans," athletics director Laird Veatch said in a statement.
