BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Kansas man arrested during an internet sting operation in Bentonville last year has pleaded guilty, according to court documents.
Luis Bello, 29, of Leawood, Kan., pleaded guilty on Sept. 10 to one count of internet stalking of a child. He was sentenced to eight years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections with an additional 12 years suspended imposition of sentence.
Bello has been ordered to register as a sex offender, enroll in a sex offender rehabilitation treatment within 30 days of release and successfully complete the program.
A probable cause affidavit said on Jan. 12, 2024, Bello was arrested on conspiracy to commit rape and internet stalking of a child charges.
