A pedestrian was fatally struck by a car Tuesday morning on I-90 in Mineral County near Haugan, according to a Montana Highway Patrol release.

According to the release, the pedestrian, a 70-year-old man from Spokane, was in the middle of the interstate when he was struck by a car driving in the left-hand lane. The pedestrian was pronounced dead on arrival, while the driver was uninjured. The crash occurred at about 10 a.m. Tuesday morning near mile marker 15.

Law enforcement does not suspect drugs, speed or alcohol as factors, according to the release.
