Everything is bigger in Texas. How often have you heard that? Well, let's face it. It's pretty much true, and it is often stated as a point of pride. We've got the biggest trucks, the largest steaks, and the widest highways. It takes all day long to get from one end of this gigantic state to another. And so on.

But is that always a good thing?

There are cases where that size might work against us. One example is governing. Is it a lot harder to govern when you've got to represent and serve so many people and so much land?
