GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County School District said a high school teacher is no longer employed with the district after having been placed on leave while they investigated an “inappropriate message” on social media.

U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace reposted images on X of a Facebook post attributed to Wynne Boliek, which appears to reference the shooting death of Charlie Kirk.

The post states:

“Thoughts and prayers to his children but IMHO America became greater today. There I said it.”

The district said they are aware of the message and confirmed it was written by Boliek, a social studies teacher at Southside High School.
