LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Animal Foundation announced they are out of dog kennel space at their shelter and is asking the community to help by fostering or adopting.

According to a release, the animal shelter has seen 168 dogs come into the shelter since Sunday, Sept. 7. The release said more are arriving every day.

Now, the shelter is out of kennel space for dogs.

The Animal Foundation is asking for the community's help by encouraging people to foster or adopt dogs.

Fostering dogs is completely free and the shelter will provide everything dog foster parents will need to "spoil" a dog while they wait for their forever home.

"Whether folks can only foster for a few days or a few weeks, every open kennel makes a difference," the shelter said.
