New stores are coming to the Southlake Mall in Hobart.

Swarovski plans to open soon at the superregional two-story enclosed mall at U.S. 30 and Mississippi Street. The jewelry store will open by the central court, selling crystal jewelry and gifts.

The company started in Austria in 1895 and is now in its fifth generation of family leadership. Swarovski is best known for its crystals but also makes tools, telescopes and other optics. It’s a multinational retailer with 3,000 stores in 170 countries and more than 29,000 employees.
