NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Injuries were one of the Titans’ worst enemies last season, and that bug is emerging much earlier than anyone had hoped.

On Thursday, right Tackle JC Latham ruled himself out of Sunday’s matchup against the Rams.

The second-year starter, who continues to battle a hip injury, told the media he won’t be active on Sunday. The status update comes after Latham didn’t participate in Wednesday’s or Thursday’s practice.

Latham played in 73% of the offensive snaps in Week 1 in Denver. He eventually exited the game early in the fourth quarter with a noticeable limp. It’s something Latham mentioned had been lingering since their first preseason practice in Atlanta.
