SMITH COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Two people were injured in a crash on Interstate 40 Thursday morning, according to the Smith County Rescue Squad.
SCRS said their crews responded to mile marker 26 on I-40 East just before 10:15 a.m. Thursday for reports of a two vehicle crash.
Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.
At the scene, crews found two vehicles damaged with one flipped on its top.
SCRS said one person had to be flown to a hospital while another was taken by ambulance for evaluation.
The crash backed up traffic, so the helicopter could lane. The lanes were later reopened.
